Rooted Leadership
For over two decades, Dr. Ross shaped Detroit's future one classroom at a time while showing up for seniors, families, and neighbors across District 4. Her campaign is built around the same discipline she brought to education: listen first, solve what is in front of you, and keep coming back until people feel the difference.
Her Story
Before running for State Representative, Regina was already doing the kind of work that makes neighborhoods stronger: listening to families, guiding students, standing with seniors, and helping residents navigate everyday challenges with dignity.
As a longtime Detroit educator, she saw how state decisions show up in classrooms, homes, and neighborhood corridors. She understands that school funding, workforce training, housing stability, insurance costs, public safety, and senior services are not separate issues for families trying to build a better life. They are connected.
That is why Regina is running a campaign focused on practical delivery. District 4 deserves a representative who knows the blocks, respects the people, and will fight for resources without waiting for permission to care.
What Guides Her
Regina believes the best policy starts with residents who know the pressure points on their own blocks.
District 4 small businesses, commercial corridors, schools, and workers should share directly in Detroit's growth.
From seniors to students to first responders, public service should make daily life safer, fairer, and more stable.
